DERMYN® is a unique range of skincare products for healthy and youthful skin - developed, manufactured and packaged in our ISO-certified production facility in Habo outside Jönköping. The plant is powered entirely by renewable electricity and also has its own solar cell plant.
DERMYN® was originally developed by a team of scientists at an innovative Swedish research and development company working on injection treatments. Professional facelift products and anti-wrinkle creams often contain strong preparations and can therefore only be used at long intervals. The successful research team wanted to find a natural product that could be safely used every day. In doing so, they wanted to develop a treatment that could be used to boost the effect of other anti-wrinkle products - or even used as a natural facelift on its own.
The dermatologists, who are also known for their participation in the development of the well-known Swedish brand Jabushe, worked on the original formulation. They discovered Tricutan® - a combination of three natural plant extracts with a long-lasting firming effect, which can be combined with DMEA to provide an immediate lift.
The effects of Tricutan® Complex were documented in clinical studies at Karolinska Institutet, one of the world's leading medical research institutes, which awards the Nobel Prize in Medicine, and Sahlgrenska Hospital in Gothenburg. Tricutane is protected by patents in Sweden and around the world.
DERMYN® Active Serum, DERMYN® Renewing Power Serum and DERMYN® Eye Cream all contain the patented and clinically proven active formula Tricutan® or Tricutan® Complex which has a lifting and firming effect on the skin.
Clinical studies have shown that a measurable result was achieved in just 45 minutes, with a clear long-term effect on skin firmness after regular use twice a day for 28 days.
DMEA
Some DERMYN® products contain Tricutane® Complex which is a combination of Tricutane and DMEA (also known as dimethylaminoethanol or dimethyl MEA) - an amino alcohol. DMEA has the ability to moisturize the skin, contributing to firm skin with a youthful appearance.
Contains natural ursolic acid, a substance that has an anti-aging effect on the skin by moisturizing it from the inside, thus contributing to youthful skin. Rosemary has also been shown to increase circulation, help tighten the skin while evening out the skin tone, and contribute to increased elasticity.
Also known as tiger grass or gotu kola. Contains triterpenoid compounds such as asiaticoside and madecassicoside. These compounds make the skin stronger and more flexible by stimulating fibroblasts and collagen synthesis.
THC (tetrahydrocurcuminoids), a substance derived from the roots of Curcuma longa, acts as a powerful antioxidant that scavenges free radicals. This prevents oxidation in skin cells and can thus counteract skin ageing. THC also has a natural whitening effect on the skin.
